PROFESSIONAL COURSES: ICAN
This programme is open to all graduates of all discipline except that the discipline determines the entry point. this implies that exemptions are available to every student at point of entry depending on the qualification. for more details on the entry requirement and exemptions available, click on the link below.

We provide lectures and guidance at all levels for this programme. All lectures are held during our opening hours. At the moment, standard lecture programme are offered over a period of three months for each diet. The time table is fixed and lectures commenced from Thursday to Sunday every week.

CIS
The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers. This is a fast growing profession in Nigeria. The Institute issues certification to would be dealers and operators of the capital markets in Nigeria. We provide lectures and training that guarantees our students’ success at the Institute’s examinations.

ATS
This is an intermediate accounting qualification conducted by ICAN. The course is designed to equip candidates that do not possess the minimum entry requirements to embark on the professional accounting examinations. Graduates of this scheme are employed in industries as accounts supervisors. On completion of the course, successful candidates are exempted up to professional level 1 of the ICAN examinations.

ACCA.
An international and world wide based qualification is available at all levels.

SHORT RUN COURSES (Special Programmes)

These are designed to improve literacy level in accounting by educating the public. The participants are trained at elementary and advanced level at different stages in the accountancy world The courses include but not limited to the following:
Basic accounting processes
Basic book keeping and accounts
Accounting for Value added taxes
Payroll accounting and PAYEE administration
Element of finance
Understanding the financial statements

The exams are in three stages as detailed below:

FOUNDATION (KNOWLEDGE) LEVEL
Courses are financial accounting, Management information, Business law and Business finance.

SKILL LEVEL

Courses are Financial reporting, Performance management, Audit and assurance, Corporate strategic management end ethics, Public sector accounting and finance and Taxation

PROFESSIONAL LEVEL

Courses are Corporate reporting, Strategic financial management, Advanced taxation, Advanced audit and assurance and Case study.

The exams for 2021 will be held twice due to COVID 19 (May and November).
